🍣Would you like to know about Japanese food culture in Kyoto and enjoy making your own sushi?

In this post, introduce features of “Sushi Lab. by Sumaya”.

There are three features.





①This experience is fun and original sushi making.

Everyone will have fun making freestyle sushi.

Anyone can participate, families and couples etc......

Rather than learning how to make authentic sushi chefs, this is a class that anyone can easily and enjoy making sushi.


②We use seasoning from Kyoto.

And we bought fresh fish at Nishiki Market every morning.

We are particular about products made in Kyoto.

For example, Vinegar rice is very important when making sushi. It is made by pouring sushi vinegar on rice, so the sushi vinegar used is “Fuji Vinegar”. We use iio-jozo, which has a long history in Kyoto and has been brewing since 1896.


③You can know Japanese food culture.

You can also learn about the history of sushi and the charm of Japanese food culture,

We also introduce "Dashi”.

Dashi is an essential flavor for Japanese food. It is used in many Japanese dishes.

Let's have fun learning about dashi while tasting!
